An important institution inaugurated in Greece
This exhibition held by the Byzantine & Christian Museum inaugurated in Greece the institution of the “Exhibit of the Month”. The Institution, common in the large European Museums, aims to present to the public objects that are not well known. The museum brings out from his storerooms objects that have an interesting story to narrate. Essentially it is an exhibition with limited duration in which the object or objects on display are viewed from different historical or artistic angles. The institution is of great importance because it is an opportunity for visitors to get to know objects or parts of the Museum Collections that are not usually accessible. In this way a closer tie between the Museum and the public is fostered.
