The public’s response

The exhibition was the result of a fruitful cooperation of the Byzantine & Christian Museum with Municipalities and Institutions of Thrace. The exhibition was accepted warmly by the public in Thrace. The older visitors, inhabitants of the areas shown in  the photographs, recognized places and monuments that no longer existed or had been altered. The younger, on the other hand, had the opportunity to visualize the history of their home.
