Clay vessel, Chafing dish (Saltsario)
Glazed fireproof clay vessel in the shape of an inverted cone, with two handles. Used for preparing and serving sauces. At the top of the vessel is an open plate, the contents of which were kept warm by placing charcoal underneath it through the triangular side opening.
