Stoudios Monastery (İmrahor Camii), interior.
The watercolour depicts Stoudios Monastery, one of the most important monasteries of Constantinople. The drawing shows the monument during the 19th c. when the building was not a monastery, but an Ottoman mosque (İmrahor Camii). The building was completely destroyed in 1920, so this drawing is extremely valuable.
