Ivory comb
The comb is made of ivory and decorated with relief ornamentation on its sides. Its decoration and its material, the precious ivory, indicate the economic prosperity of its owner. The combs were used in everyday life, for the care and grooming of the hair. The combs that were preserved until today have been found mainly inside tombs, as offerings, i.e. objects that were placed into the grave to accompany the deceased in the life beyond.
