COLLECTIONS / 20th and 21st-c. art Collection
The Collection was established in 2012. It includes paintings, sculptures, works of minor arts, engravings, photographs, works on fabric and installations, dated from the 20th century to the present day. Most of the works have been donated to the Museum by contemporary artists who have been presented into the Museum halls in solo or group exhibitions. The Collection’s works revealed aspects of the open dialogue between the modern and contemporary artistic production and the Byzantine and post-Byzantine tradition.
